UFC 141: Brock denies he has glass jaw

MANILA, Philippines – UFC heavyweight fighter Brock Lesnar is miffed by claims that he has trouble absorbing punches.

The 6’3” Lesnar, who is scheduled to fight big punching Alistair Overeem on December 30, denied that he has a glass jaw.

"I think it's a bunch of [expletive]," the former WWE superstar said in Sports Illustrated.

"The fights that I've gotten hit, I've stood and banged with Heath Herring, Randy Couture, Frank Mir -- I've taken a lot of shots. I mean, Shane Carwin,” he added.

Lesnar pointed out he has never been defeated by a clear knockout.

He said his two career losses came via a submission and a technical knockout (referee stoppage).

“I've never been knocked out cold," said Lesnar.

Lesnar will be trading hits against Overeem in the main event of UFC 141 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lesnar said he will give the 6’5” striker a rude awakening.

“He's over his head. He doesn't understand the beast that he's gonna enter the Octagon with,” he said.
